Our advisory process is structured, transparent, and built around you not around products. Here is exactly what you can expect, from the first conversation to ongoing partnership.
Every engagement begins with an in-depth consultation typically 60 to 90 minutes where we listen. We ask about your income, assets, liabilities, dependants, life goals, risk tolerance, existing investments, insurance coverage, and tax situation. We do not pitch products in this meeting. The only agenda is understanding you completely.
At the end of this session, we provide a written summary of what we've understood and confirm whether and how we can help. There is no obligation to proceed, and no charge for this meeting.
Our advisors conduct a structured audit of your current financial position: income patterns, existing investments, insurance gaps, tax returns, estate documents, and debt structure. We present our findings in a written Financial Health Report identifying strengths, gaps, risks, and priority areas. Most clients find this report alone to be a significant clarifying exercise.
Financial planning without clear goals is just portfolio management. We work with you to articulate goals with specificity not "I want to be comfortable in retirement" but "I want to retire at 58 with a monthly income of ₹1.5 lakh in today's money, with the house paid off." We quantify each goal, assign a time horizon, and assess its sensitivity to inflation and market risk.
With a clear picture of your current position and future goals, our team develops a comprehensive financial plan covering asset allocation, investment vehicle selection, insurance recommendations, tax optimisation, and estate planning. We present this in a structured document the MAV Financial Blueprint - which you can review and request revisions to before we proceed.
Once you approve the plan, we guide you step by step helping you open the right accounts, select the right products, execute transfers, and put insurance and estate structures in place. Where legal or tax professionals are required, we coordinate with and brief them on your behalf. We do not rush implementation; spreading actions across appropriate time windows often improves outcomes.
A financial plan is a living system. Markets move, tax laws change, your income grows, family circumstances evolve. We conduct a formal portfolio review at least once a year and a brief check-in every quarter. Rebalancing decisions are always documented, explained, and approved by you before execution. You are never in the dark about what is happening to your money and why.
